Wheeeee - finally put some paint down.

I\'ve been working on my old little boat for a couple of weeks now getting it all ready to sell. Decided the fiberglass gelcoat was in too bad of a shape to just give it a coat of wax. The previous owner tried to make it a duck blind with some brown Krylon cammo. Most of that was half rubbed off.


Strip off everything from the inside and outside.
Turn upside down on the trailer.

So, break out the tools.
Random orbital sander,
Bondo (body putty)
More sanding
Primer
more sanding
primer
light sanding

And finally, tonight - it got the first coat of BLACK.

Agreed. Especially on the second count.

I thought about posting my pregnancy announcement in the WIP thread along with some pics...but at this stage in the process I figured DR or Vikey or one of our other great mods would just delete the thread and ban me. lol
