Surprise ! ,, isnt it funny when you are asked by your consultant Doctor to reduce your medication and see how long it takes to get ill again:|~. Add to that equation the fact you are about to go back into the Fire Brigade, well what do you get., . POOP CITY !!!!
Crohns disease is at its most fun when the pooing & pain stops, take my word for it . After being put back on my usual dose I am now begining to feel better.( It only took a month !)
So in the words of Gloria Gaynor ,\"And now I am back\" ! Sorry, but I will have to drop out of the Voystroan painting thingy that was organized. Also much ,MUCH dissapointment I have a course running from SEPT 9-16th, which means I will have to miss the Paris show .( I am gutted , sorry for the pun ). One positive note is I am looking forward to seeing many of you at Birmingham .

Last bit not least I would like to take this oppourtunity to thank all the people who have voted on my minis and left comments, I really appreciate the effort folks have made over the last few months.

Sorry to hear about your health problems! :( Also sorry about Paris! But, hopefully there will be a competition again next year. I would really like to attend this competition, but I\'m unable this year.

I am sorry to hear this too, my cousin has this, and I know how tough it can be.

Hope your fighting fit soon though, and If you need someone to step up in your place for the vostroyan thing then PM me. I would be happy to fill in if people think my works up to scratch.

Adie, my brother & my dad have both had a chunk of their intestines removed do to crohnes. I definately understand and sympathize.

My mother-in-law has crohns. Definitely an unpleasant thing to live with, but at least it is something you can live with.

I also have Crohns disease, but apparently had 2 foot of Bowel removed 25 years ago (*) so I\'ve missed out on the worst aspects.
Although I\'ve had a couple of issues with Gastric Bleeds, I\'ve been lucky that I\'ve not had the pain and suffering you\'ve been going through.

(* I didn\'t get told about this until 2 years ago when it came as a bit of a surprize to me, and a shock to my Doctor that I hadn\'t been told).

Anyhow don\'t worry about the Vostroyans, all is in hand.

take care Adrian.......i had lots of check ups when they thought i might have had crohn\'s......thankfully i only have IBS....

and that can be a pain in the arse too!:rolleyes:

adrian - glad you are starting to feel better. i deal with loads of patients with crohns and ibs and it sucks. i am extremely disappointed to hear that oyu cant make it to paris. and after all those posts too!!
