I live in Athens, GA, where the pollen count was over 4000 and still had a month before it reached its peak. Incedentally, a count of 500 is considered high.

I came to Athens to pursue my music career. You\'ve probably never heard of me, which shows how successful I\'ve been. Of course, Barkel isn\'t my real name.

In the south we live a long way from everything. My last job was an hour and a half commute one way. My current day care provider for my child is 25 minutes away from home. But I got lucky on store location. I live a mile from a hobby shop that sells GW, two miles from a Michaels Crafts and three from a store that sells I-kore.

I\'m sorry. For those who don\'t know, Athens, Georgia is in the south eastern United States. 10 hours north of Disney World. 12 hours south of Washington D.C. The two political strongholds of our country.

I moved out to kent a few years back and now my nearest GW store is maidstone a 25 min drive away.

There\'s a lot of GW shops around Sydney and a couple of good alternatives but i must say that many of the figures i\'ve seen on these pages I haven\'t seen in the shops here. Might have to resort to mail order.

I\'m in Seattle, Washington, and I\'m about 30 mins from a WOTC (one of the few left \'round here) 2 hours from a rogue trader game store, and 3 hours from the GW Westcoast Battle bunker. I\'ve never been to the battle bunker, tho. lol

Didnt realize everyone was going to go that far into their histories, so how this - born and raised in Waco, Texas (famous for religious groups and Dr. Pepper) - followed by time spent in such varied vacation spots as Great Lakes Naval Station Illinios, Dallas Texas, San Marcos Texas, College Station Texas, back to San Marcos Texas, then on to Austin, where we got at least 4 different shops catering to all your gaming needs, but it still takes an hour to reach any of them - here again a curse upon poor planing and the Highway Department

I lived in London for a bit, now it\'s san francisco, california. I\'m very lucky, there\'s a gamesworkshop and a store that sells almost all the other brands very close to me. I love it here!

I live somewhere in the midst of Ontario, Canada, somewhere approx. 2 hours NNW of the provincial capital Toronto. I live on a farm, however GW stores are \"only\" an hour away, so it\'s not so bad. Needless to say, the more rural neighbours are less than interested in gaming of any sort :~(

Well, home for me is in northeaster Pennsylvania - way, way out in the boonies. I don\'t even know where the closest hobby store is there but its likely more than an hour drive.
Currently I\'m in Providence, Rhode Island (off at college). It was a shock to find not only a GW store within walking distance (if I don\'t mind crossing the highway... which I do - people need to learn to drive here...) but a really good gaming store (that carries vallejo paints!) about a 7-10 min. drive away. \'Course most things in Rhode Island are close by necessity. You can\'t go too far or you\'ll end up in Massachusetts or Connecticut.

I live in Wisconsin. About an hour north of Milwaukee, where they used to host GenCon, but no longer Other than that there is nothing near me. Some small retail comic book stores but not much else. At least that I know of.

I\'m from Guelph, Ontario (about 3 hours drive south of wyrmling_x from the sound of things). There\'s a nice gaming store called The Dragon, mainly GW but I like it anyway I used to live in Kingston, Ontario during grad school, it\'s a nice place with lots of good restaurants and one gaming store, Nexus, which again is mostly GW but actually carries a lot of Confrontation, Dark Age and other cool stuff.

The great waste of Reno Nevada.
It\'s too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer, and we haven\'t got but two crummy little game stores in town. One really, but like the old joke says, \"Reno is so close to hell you can see Sparks.\"
However, with any luck I shall not be long for this place.
