Is it simply being pruned or do we lose it completely? Despite some of the angst it was quite a good debate.

I never got to address the guy who said he lived 8 hours away from me..... Anyone by chance remember his name so I can send him a PM and get some more info? If he\'s only 8 hrs that means we\'d likely meet up at some tournies if he\'s a gamer.

If a kind hearted mod might fire me that info I\'d be greatly appreciative.....

....though I understand if the mods aren\'t especially the first in line for the \"Let\'s do Scott a favor\" line-up.

Eh? Big shoes to fill! Not to come across all \"When I were a lad we had much better arguments...\" but I\'ve seen a lot better. Hell, I\'ve seen better on gaming forums and that\'s saying something.

This kind of thing does partly depend on the quality of the opposition... not much point in taking potshots at someone incapable of putting up a viable defence lol

What vike is talking about is that it got really really good, just before we removed it to the moderator section. Quite epic actually, Klute and Alexi Z amongst others joined the fray. Well... shame you want be able to see it! :D

I made a multiquote post all nice and never got to see the reply.

Oh well better this way I guess, theres no point on people being pissed about these small things.

Navarro I thought your posts were pretty well thought out. I\'m suprised that the thread survived my tirade, and I am very curious to see what broke the camels back.

Nah, honestly, it was no ones fault.

There was some early name calling in the thread, and towards the end it was just swinging back and forth.

We are discussing it behind the scenes, and I\'ll be voting for it to just be cleaned up and returned.

The debate was a good one, but it was falling into redundancy.

Just to clarify, I\'m really against killing threads, as I think most folks here self-moderate, or the forum participants call for peace very well.

But sometimes, they just get a bit out of control, it\'s good to be able to put the brakes on.
