Where to find steampunk/Sci Fi minis....

I'm hooked on a new genre of minis. I've fallen in love with the Smart Max series of miniatures. I love them. Full of detail and very well done. The best way to describe them would possibly be Industrial Revolution- Sherlock Holmes/World War I meets the game Half Life. I'm wondering if there are any other ranges out there like this?

Also, I have a thing for World War I/ World War II Sci Fi. Anyone know of any quality ranges for this type of genre or am I just weird?

All the best,

Jake

lead adventure do a ton of steampunk, it's kinda clunky but great fun to paint, Micro art have a few and Guild of harmony have two now, but both are brill.

Weird war two stuff - Incursion is limited but good and secrets of the third reich is clunky but good as well (see bpi's thread in the wip section - he has some at the end)

Thanks I'll look into them. I'm not sure why the Sci-Fi/ Steam punk bug has hit me, but I am just looking all over for minis like that. I wonder if they're just bizarre. Bizarre minis are just nuts. Any ideas for just outright weird minis?

Wyrd do some nice steam punk for their game Malifaux, Privateer Press do some pretty steampunky stuff for Warmachine, and Pegaso do some lovely 54mm stuff for their Gehenna range which is both steampunky and wierd. For outright weirdness, though, you can't beat Kingdom Death. Too weird for me, actually, but it sells like hot cakes, so somebody must be buying 'em. :)

Tinker Belle, a really awesome miniature, from Guild of Harmony, is one of the better steampunk ones currently, imho. You should totally go and check it out.

I'm intrigued. I guess I'm attracted to weird stuff because it's so dynamic to paint!

Thanks for the tips guys.

Although, I may be the only person who doesn't really care for steampunk.
