Where to go from here?

Hi all, name's AJ. This is my first time posting here so a mighty hello to everyone! To the point of my post, I've recently posted 3 minis photos (Only 2 are up yet) and while I am pleased with the scores I got for the time and effort I've put into these, I think it's a shame that there seems to be a lack of comments on the mid range scoring minis. Criticism is always welcomed by me so it's unfortunate I've had none, mainly because I'd like to see where I can go to improve my models maybe to mid 6's or lower 7's. Does anyone here have any pointers? Cheers in advance,

AJ

The one I am most proud of and one of the best minis I've done I think

high aj and welcome to the forum, for critique and pointers you are better off posting pictures in a wip on the forum. you will get a more in depth feedback that way.
having had a look at your models you have neat blocking the next stage would be to add shading and highlights, there are tutorials on the site that will help.

Hi, welcome.

First step I can recommend is take better photos. The worse thing about an online gallery is your score can only be as good as the photo shows the paintjob to be. Check the articles center here for some great starting tips on better pictures. Its kinda hard to tell what going on in the picture due to the lighting, but at this point is looks neat, but flat. Highlights and lowlights arnt done with enough contrast and the same is true for the mettle. Hope this helps.
