Hello everybody!

Can anyone please tell me where to look for wooden diorama bases in London? (the ones they use for GD ... ;) )

You can use the corners from a picture frame. Just look for a \"framer\" or shops that carry picture frames. :D

P.S You can use them at least for square bases.

There are number of online stores which carry bases which may be suitable.
@Margo: There\'s a model shop in Newcastle-upon-tyne which has a number of Diorama style bases. I\'ll PM you the URL as I can\'t remember it and it\'s in my favourites at work!

Of course one of the easiest ways is to make them yourself. Quite few of the best entries at Golden Deamon seem to have done that. Find a good local woodworker and see if they can help you out.

Calavera: I thought about using a picture frame, too. Still, I believe, there must be some special bases, ready-to-use, for that purpose.

Dragonsreach: thanks a lot for the reference; I will try to find coordinates of that Newcastle place online.

Thanks!

You can find them at this address:

The web address is:

The last time I looked their online catalogue was crap but the shops stock the bases you want.
