well, Mexico sure did make me eat my words yesterday...
they wrapped 'em up like burrito, and it was horrible, like Mexico's play...
those guys just didn't look like they wanted it...
they took a few good shots, but looked less inspired than the USA the day before
...
i hope we get to see NED play Brazil...
that would be a good match...

Mexico looked like they stopped wanting to realy try after they realized that they were playing against the officials (that was sooooooo offside and the officials knew it!)

We needed a good thrashing, somethings got to be done now England have been wanting for so long now, atleast it can't be passed off as unlucky, or totally blame the ref like he would have if it ended 2-1 or 3-2 or something. Germany played well and deserved to win, still hoping the Argies can best them though

The Germany win over Argentina was like watching an operation, totaly clinical.

Yeah, Germany is definitely the favourite now.
I thought of that too! Perhaps the reports have been one sided over here but I think I ever seen her in different states of grumpyness.

YEAAAAAAHHH!!!! Although i hate soccer, I was really excited in thsi match. Damnn... Uruguay who scored in the 92th minute and the referee who kept the game on after 95,5 minutes of playing while it only had 2 minutes of extra time..

Only caught the final 20mins, cracking 2nd goal from Uruguay really thought they we're going to force it to penalties in the last few mins. Didn't see what the yellow was for either, searched around abit usually it's listed why, just says 90min+4 Van Bommel booked, mystery

90+4 min: Hilarious! The Dutch fans rejoice as they think the ref has blown the final whistle ... but in fact he was awarding a freekick to Holland. Van Bommel, too, thought it was the end of the game so kicked the ball away in celebration .... and cops a booking!
