PFFT! Do I?! Scotland ftw!!!

Although given the subject of the thread, I would move to the US to be with my Lady love. I go months without seeing her lol
I percieve that as a bad thing before you all start :p

I don\'t know enougth country to choose !!! And all of the country I have been in had some great advantages.
Right now I really feel like going back to the US, great country, lots to see, lots to do, and its there that I met the most interesting people (good and bad).
But I have to say that regarding quality of daily life I have yet to find a country that surpases France.

I\'d probably go Scotland. There is something about it that just appeals. Of course it is hard to say for sure based on three short visits.

Sweden, without second thought. My girlfriend and I have been to Stockholm a couple of times and we are both in love with the city and the country. Stockholm is the only place we have ever been to were we both spontaneously said \"I could imagine to live here\". The country, the city, the people, the climate ... awesome.

I\'ve visited Scotland and I could definately live there for a while of my life. But I think I\'ll return to the northern parts of Sweden eventually. Føroyar would be nice as well. Not sure what they\'re called in english Fairy Islands? I\'ve met two girls from there.. and well they said they were the least good-looking of their friends. And my friends saw some photos and said it was true... :innocent: excellent....

I don\'t know if it fits in this thread but felt like sharing any way:

If any of you is planing on going to france, visiting, living, whatever..... I sugest you read \"A year in the Merde\", \"talking to the snail\" by Stephen Clarke, who both depict typical French beahviour with scary (and somtimes unflatering) accuracy and an amazing humour.

South Africa has natural beauty, and it is gloriously beautiful. Scotland cannot compare - with apologies to half my family, and a kick in the pants for TBS. The South African climate and weather is gentle and mild - no real extremes and no natural disasters like hurricanes or earthquakes. It\'s no wonder the English wanted it so badly. Unfortunately, there\'s a sour element to all this - people. Humans inhabit the land and screw it up for all the other humans who screw it up for the ones who are trying to screw it up for the first set of screwers. A bunch of screwers and screwees. More than any other reason, it\'s crime that drives people out.

Now, New Zealand doesn\'t seem so bad. In so many ways it\'s just like South Africa, but without 8-foot walls and electric fencing around every home. It\'s at the arse-end of the world where no-one bothers with it until it\'s time for rugby or cricket. Every other person there has South African connections and I have property there, just \'cos it\'s such a nice place. I\'m sure the kiwis hate us. lol

Yep, it\'s a pretty good place to live! :)

If I had to live anywhere else I would probably say Germany or France (Provence) as I really like it there. But, much like Sven, I would probably want to return to Sweden after a while.

lol Mod, gentle my ass! Last time I was there I almost cooked. theres a good reason theres pools in every garden!
I do like it there though, agreed. The crime element is pretty cack though.

Germany! Now theres a place i\'d love to back and live again. So clean and hospitable. The area I lived in was on the Rhine pretty much. SO nice there
