which GW mini is this?

I saw this picture on a french site, but without saying what mini it is. Can someone help me, because I really like this model (that raven is just very cool ), but I don\'t know that much about Warhammer armies to be able to know from which army this one is. Thanks.

It\'s Gandalf\'s buddy Radagast the Brown, from the Lord of the Rings line. Nice mini, I didn\'t know they\'d made one of him.

I´m not sure, but the way I see it here, it´s a mini still to be released - a preview so to say, and it´s not warhammer, but from th Lord of the Ring line of GW; if i´m not mistaken, Radagast the Brown is a wizard and helper of either Saruman or Gandalf (LotR fans, help me, it´s all been so long ago..) - I´d look up at GW´s online shop, you may find out when the guy is released if you want to buy him

Can\'t help anyone at all, but if it is a GW/LotR job, it bodes well for the full version of the film when it\'s released. - I was hoping for Tom Bomadil and Radagast to be in the film, and if this mini IS aGW mini, it means he may well be in that final DVD with all the scenes they filmed - a more complete film

Radagast is, along with Gandalf and Saruman, one of the Istari who came from across the seas. I think Saruman was the first to come over, and two followed to see what he was up to? Radagast is a good/neutral nature loving guy lol

If I remember correctly there were 5 Istari, but Saurman, Gandalf, and Radagast the Brown were the only three mentioned in the trilogy.

I remember Radagast either having a \'scene\' in the book or being mentioned but I can\'t remember where exactly. I think it had something to do when they were searching for Gollum.

I would love to see more of the LOTR on the final DVD, but I hope it at least attempts to stay true to the book.

I am assuming the mini is from the LOTR miniature line (not only from the name, but also the GW Studio paint job \'brown base\'), so it will be slightly smaller than the other Warhammer stuff.

Radagast the brown was instrumental in helping Galdalf getting off of Orthanc...Radagast sent the Giant Eagle to warn Sauraman that Sauron was on the move again from info that Gandalf told him. The Giant Eagle helped get Gandalf off the tower. So in a since Gandalf set in motion his own escape before he was even captured...now thats a Wizard.

You guys have good memories, I read the LoTR about 5 times and I can\'t remember anything about radagast. Has for him appearing in the long version of the movie, well I have it I you don\'t see either Tom or Radgast. And I know GW have started making minis that weren\'t in the movie. And I have to agree in saying that this is a cool mini.

Yeah, you don\'t see either one of them in the extended version of the film, but if they HAD stayed completely true to the book the movie would have been about 6 days long. as far as minis that weren\'t in the movie or book, they even just released a Balin (Gimli\'s Cousin, Lord of Moria) fig in the US. The only shot of Gimli in the movie and mention in the *actual* trilogy was his tomb. I do like the mini, tho.

To be fair you should also mention that Radagast was instrumental in getting Gandalf captured in the first place.
Saruman sent Radagast to find Gandalf and tell him he was needed at Orthanc. When Gandalf arrived Saruman tricked him into getting locked in the tower. (sorry there was no \"wizard\'s duel\" in the book).
G had already begun to suspect S so he asked R to send the eagle on a fact-finding mission and report to Orthanc.
Radagast was so enamored of the animals of the world he was clueless to guile and easily duped by both Gandalf and Saruman.

I\'m going to burn for this one, but... 5 times?!
I just read the trilogy once because I felt I had to, as a fantasy-fanboy. I consider it a horrible read, too much descriptions of everything. But I like the film however, It\'s the book toned down and I like that. :innocent:

If you thought the LOTR books were slow and contained a lot description, then stay away from Jordan\'s books

I really like his style, I finished book 5 Currently I\'m reading book 6 of the 7-book cycle \"The Death Gate\" of Weis & Hickman. After those last two books are finished I guess I\'m going to read LOTR again (third time).
