Which looks better?

Sounds like a lot of you think turned is the best. I started painting ( but I screwed up, see my white spirit vs. paint thread) but I haven\'t attached the head yet.

That\'s true:drunk: Too bad I screwed up and had to start over again...

i will paint it when the paints is stripped ( anyone knows how long it takes using white spirit, see my other thread \'bout that!)

Forever with White spirit I believe. I tried stripping some Incubi a while back and it did\'nt work, just made my mini smell like arseholes!

Try using Acetone or Brake Fluid, soak for 24hours and then give it a good scrub with an old toothbrush. If that does\'nt work you can shoot me.....in the leg.

As for the main topic of discussion, i\'d say turned

Damn ,that sucks, now I can start all over again:~( In the meanwhile I have had a new idea:

Making him look turned to to his sword, and have a chopped-off Chaos Warrior head on his base, with a bloody sword ofcourse!

What do you think?

I say turned, but don\'t do the severed head thing. I think it\'s a noob thing to put blood on weapons and body parts on bases. That\'s just not how a fight goes.

Remember, that\'s a power weapon and it\'s alive with energy. It wouldn\'t have blood on it because it would burn off. There wouldn\'t be a severed head because you don\'t cut off your enemies head then just stand there over it looking all regal. You\'d kill him and move on to the next enemy. If he was the only one or there was a duel you wouldn\'t be in your parade uniform as this commander clearly is.

I say, go sans gore.

Oh, and paint the head separate from the body and glue them together dead last.

EDIT: I just stripped 25 metal IG in 4 hours with Castrol Superclean. Try it. It\'s purple, doesn\'t smell funny, and strips like... you know... ;)

Okey, if it doesn\'t fit with the fluff of the weapon then I wont do it. Too bad I don\'t live in the UK or USA, otherwise I could have tried that Castrol stuff, but now I\'m gonna try with acetone or some stuff my dad has at his work...

Thanks, keep the postings coming!
