I can\'t pick just one either! I\'d have to say that Ral Partha made some of the best dragon box sets going, but then went into decline. Now for that Reaper is currently my favorite. But I also love Rackham\'s wolfen. :D

GW has some nice stuff-like some of the new lizards, the demon hunters and inquisitor stuff, but I buy GW mainly so as to enter Golden Demon- not really because I like the entire range.

Forgeworld again has some models that are just must haves! Like the Dragon I just bought and my Temple Guard I got last year.:flip:

Spyglass is definitely and up and coming brand as is Werner\'s minis. I also Like the Cryx for warmachine.

GW.

Back in the 80\'s when I started, I was bought some of their LOTR line. I had friends who had grenadier minis and to my mind they were total crap by comparison. So I started with GW and given we played games and that for the last few years I\'ve only played in store this has kept me from exploring other ranges (not to mention lack of availability in local stores).

The GW range now is really nice, they went through a cartoony phase in the late 80\'s early 90\'s and some of the minis from that period are just hideous (the Demonettes with claws twice the size of their bodies). But Jez kept up the good work, and now they have some really decent minis, in particular I like the stuff done by Jez and Juan, Brian Nelsons orks and the new Dwarfs are great, and Tim Adock\'s vehicles and machines are great. I love some of the new demonhunter minis. Oh and the new demonettes, how cool?

Like somebody already said though its a bit hit and miss, and you sometimes get some bad misses.

Honourable mention go to heartbreaker, they were the only company to tempt me away, when I was a poor student their minis were briliantly sculpted and cheap, but I just didn\'t get round to painting them much because I wasn\'t playing with them.

I like those warmachine (?) minis, very cool, but not seen them in a shop here. Anyway my main problem is the boxes and boxes of unpainted minis I have (there is a cupboard at my parents filled with unpainted minis). I really don;t need to be introduced to any new minis, I should finish what I have... so its no new minis for me (the nurglings don\'t count they are for my GD entry...)

I used to love Ral Partha and Grenedier. In my day, they were just about the only lines readily available and they were also about the only ones who carried female characters.

I still have those, plus several Superior (which are impossible to find these days). Ahh, the days of the old ones when they modeled after such things as Franzetti (I\'m still looking for that Superhero with Axe on the Warhorse) and others.

And as for dragons, although Reaper has some spectacular dragon sculpts, for some reason I still don\'t like them as well as Ral Partha\'s. If I put T\'Char up next to Deathsleet, the poor white dragon looks miniscule and less than terrifying, not to mention all the stranger ones, such as the beautiful Ghost Dragon and Sea Dragon.

But, for price, availability, beautiful sculpts, and sheer niceness of the people who work there, I\'ll remain a faithful Reaper FanGirl.

And let\'s not forget they\'ve recently picked up Gael as one of their sculptors. :D
