which model can i use instead of the emperors champion?

i would like to use:

grey knights justicar (would have to take the psiblter off)

or one of the inquisitors ...

any ideas - btw i m not scared of conversions - i would just like to make him stick outta my army.

last thing i could do is scratchbuild ... :D

umm, I\'d go for the justicar, it\'s got a pretty cool deuling pose, and the only converting needed is adding an iron halo, and getting rid of the script on his armor.

But how come you don\'t want to use the actual emperor\'s champion model? The new one\'s awesome

i play black templar, and as of now i have a custom built EC with a dark angel body, mastercrafted bolter hand and the eldar avatar sword (sounds crazy but looks ok), but i would like to have a new Ec now.

the new EC model is cool too, and unless i get a really good idea for an alternative i ll go for it anyways - i would just love to have something different than the \"usual\" one :D

i like the justicar model just cos of its looks. i would even go as far and leave the shoulder pads as is, maybe put some green stuff to model a black templar cross on one shoulder pad. then just add a nice parchment banner ... and ... err somethings i will think of later :rolleyes:

the only problem i see is with the psi bolter. should i try and chisel it off or just leave as is and hope nobody notices.

i just play with friends or at the local store - not really at competitions or such ... could that get a problem?

Well I needed to model my justicar to be holding a master crafted plasma pistol, so I just cut off the forearm, chiseled away the ammo feed, and added a new forearm from a plastic space marine sprue.

i bought the justicar, and i ll just use him teh way he is. sadly i dont have any use for real grey knights, but i just love the justicar so much ... i dont wanna destroy the mini by chiseling or cutting :)

C\'mon, be adventurous. :)
At the very least you need to weaponmatch him to the actual Emperor\'s Champion.

How do you post pictures because I have a great selection of photos of space marine emperors champions. They might not be the new ones but boy are they bloody good
