Which pattern to go for?

It might not be the right forum, but...
I'm going to do some (Eldar) robe with entire freehand on it and dunno which pattern to use.
I guess I will go for the middle one, since (after I painted them digitally to have a preview) the other two make me kind of dizzy... which one would you chose?

And how would you paint the wave-pattern (?), since I assume its pretty hard to keep it symmetrical with a brush.

I guess I should have said that the patterns will be really really tiny with only a very small difference in color (to create something like a brocade or silk effect). I also edited my first post and added a 4th pattern. I guess I prefer the 4th now. Triangles fit the race and they create a nice and non-disturbing pattern.

With extra space padding it could work. Actually I see them more like functional runes rather than something esthetic, or at least with some symbology (the denser patterns you've shown make me think of what a pre-Slaanesh Eldar would wear, in 40K I see them a bit more discreet); but that's just me ;).

Pre-Slaanesh... I gotta say that I never thought of that culture before - neither the ones shortly before the fall, nor those shortly after the creation by the old ones.
I'm thinking of connecting some triangles... but gotta see how the pattern turns out at all, tomorrow I probably receive the target-mini.
