White Scars Cavalry

Im currently working on a new marine chapter and have decided on white scars for a few reasons:

1: to learn to paint and shade white properly

2: to get better with my sculpting..going from small additions like bottles/belts to larger items.


I want to mount them on something other than bikes, so im going to be posting a few pics of marines on brettonian horses, the new cold ones and a few other bits and bobs.

Im worried about the marine crushing the horse or looking too large for it (i can get around the weight by adding bionics im sure.

Any suggestions for a decent sized mount mini i could use?

im not sure about space marines on bret horese ??? but on the cold ones could work although i would expect them to be salamanders. some sort of bionic horse could be cool as there ment to be indians ???

I figure if i can get proportions right its feasible that marnies could have geneticly improved horses, or that theyre bred ona planet with harsh gravity or something.

I could use the cold ones as salamanders but im hoping to get a horse working as it fits in more with the mongol lore that go\'s around the white scars.

More like 40K version of the Mongul hordes.
Personally I think that marines would need to be on something a lot larger than a standard Brettonian horse.
