White scars vanguard

Hi everybody :shame:

I'm going to paint some white space marines and have looked to there codex for inspiration. And I found a White scars vanguard model which I liked a lot. It has also been featured in White Dwarf issue nr. 358 on page 93 even though it looks a lot more bluish in the shadows there than it does in the codex. I can't find a picture of the marine in question online. I haven't been able to mix the colors (shadows) I see on it, if somebody have that issue or knows the guy who painted it and can give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks in advance

White primer (I'd suggest Tamiya White Fine, just found out how nice that is.)
Either Shadow Grey or Space Wolf Grey as washes.
Vallejo Model Colour Flat Aluminium
Vallejo Airbrish Colour White.

Use a dark grey in the flexibile joints of the arms and legs and you should be good to go.

I actually like to use a sakrua micron pen to do fine black edge work.

My process is quick white coat ( no primer ) coat of badab black. Then build the white back up with thin layers. Finally touch up joints and edges with the pen when needed. Nice clean, almost storm trooper look.

These two are WIP, but you get the idea.
