If you can get a hose to fit it then yes you can hook a compressor to it. It will depend on whether it has an adaptor that comes with it though unless you already have an airbrush adaptor to fit onto the hose.
I can\'t see from the photo in White Dwarf where exactly the can screws on though???
I suspect it won\'t look like a bolter or flamer with the can attatched though.

OK cool. BTW does anyone who who\'s actually manufacturing this? Many companies have specific hoses, and my compressor came with adapters for all the big names.
I know it\'s been said before, but it\'s styled after a hand flamer. The only models that exist with hand flamers anymore are Sisters of Battle, Victoria Lamb used one in the famous duel with the Killer Kan.
The pic kinda sucks, but you get the idea. It\'s a pistol sized version, not a big heavy weapon.

The adaptor will all depend on the fitting GW has on its spray gun I have a feeling that the air can will screw directly onto the gun.
But unless somebody has seen this thing in action I guess it is only a guess until it is released.

From what I can tell of the picture, it looks like the propellant can won\'t screw directly into the gun itself. At least, I don\'t see any striations for it to screw into on the top of the can, and it would turn it into an easy-grip number to something that needs a balancing act and a well-worked wrist to be able to hold up. Only place visible, on the picture of the gun at least, where the can might go in would be on the back end (where the hammer would be on a normal gun).

I think it looks really cool, the way its done to look like the old hand flamer is totally different to other things I\'ve seen in the past, showed my brother earlier he decided to go through some boxes looking for his old space marine models to find what it looked like.
As for people who moan about the price that GW place on their items like this (Not directed at anyone in particular) No one forces people to buy these items off them, if people actually wanna pay £18 for one that\'s up to them.

Oh, don\'t be surprised if GW comes out with some rule that makes it so you can\'t play their games in tournaments or at their shops if your minis haven\'t been pre-sprayed with their new paint flamer. They wouldn\'t accept my minis at the local store the other day because I had replaced the shitty plastic GW bases with Litko Aero wooden bases (I hate the fact that GW can\'t even keep the size of a square base consistent).
That being said, I\'ll likely buy the paint/ink thingies and the book to add to my collection of other GW \'How To\' book thingies. I think I\'ve got every one they\'ve ever put out. It\'s an addiction I suppose.

I won\'t deny the fact they are complete a**\'s most of the time, anyone that charges £5 for a magazine now days compared to when I used to buy it for half that (and was a million times better back then) are completely out their minds. But its funny you should say about not allowing mini\'s if they had been changed, I bought some space marines last night with the intention to convert them with some spare warhammer bits I have lying around, when I told the bloke in the store what I had in mind his first words wasn\'t \"oh yeah man, they\'ll look bad ass\" instead he said \"Oh..... erm.... they won\'t be allowed to be used in battles\". I found it rather funny as before I told him my intentions I told him I Don\'t collect any armies but like painting certain models and I don\'t intend to play 40k with those models.

I\'ll give my local GW store big points for knowing their customers, at least the manager. He always knows my interest and doesn\'t often give me the GW company line as he knows I think it\'s a load of hooey. Then again between my mother (yes, my 65 year old mother buys a crapload of Lord of the Rings minis) and myself we would represent one (err, two I suppose) of their biggest customers even though neither of us play their games.
Actually my mom buys more than me but her income is like 5 times mine and her financial obligations about half mine. :drunk:

Crap like this is why I\'ll stick to playing with friends thank you very much. I guess my WFB orks with 40k Bits are not legal.

Bah! It seems that the local stores are worse on that kind of thing than in the Grand Tournaments. I mean, if it\'s for a bit of conversions and those bitz are GW then why the hell wouldn\'t they be allowed? After all, there is the \"count as\" rule. In the GT 2006 there was a player who used a witch hunter force and counted them as tyranids.
Generally that would have to say that it has to do with the employees themselves, not necessarily GW as a whole. I\'ve met GW store employees that wouldn\'t even accept additional rules or options that came from GW themselves. I\'ve also talked to GW employees who encouraged odd conversions and rules.
However, as GW has no way of checking to see what kind of paint or undercoat you used, it\'s more than a little ridiculous to say they\'re require it.

The mass spectrometers and paint scrapers are being issued as we speak...
I think this is a great idea i\'ve been using my airbrush to undercoat models for ages and it\'s much better than a can of spray I never get the bobbles or lumps on my minis. I will admit that with gw airbrush I wouldn\'t think of doing my gk\'s but for undercoating it should be fine, and for the younger painters the price is great compared to the hundreds I spent on my airbrush and compressor. I must admit I have a soft spot for gw as if it wasn\'t for all the time I spent at the nottingham store I would never have gotten into the mini hobby and would have only been into gk\'s instead.
