Dragonsreach,
I am always wary unless I invoke his wrath. Kind of like Tolkien's red dragon guarding his hoard in the mountain.

Generally anyone who posts a WiP or finished model for me. Gives me motivation to do something!

Far too many to name....

But, quite honestly, I think associations from folks on these very boards has given me a seriously different way of thinking. It's opened my eyes to others in the world, and given me pause to consider other viewpoints.

But, cutting through all that rot, the biggest thing or impact I have is finding out, regardless of location or back ground, how similar we all seem to be. We have many more similarities (and I'm not just talking about our hobby) than differences.

Well, mine's an obvious one, unless you're new here or don't read this section much, but it's Lizcam. After all, we're now engaged.

On a more hobby side I'm with the above two, a lot of people on here have influenced me.

Only my horde is lead, pewter and resin...................I kid you not.

And I'm not that bad tempered.........I SAID I'M NOT THAT BAD TEMPERED!

As to the people on here who have had the greatest impact on me I suggest you look at the freak list, start at the top and just keeping going down.

BPI has the best WIP thread and helped me some times.

 Thanks Cheelf!

You're all absolutely smashing of course :)

But I'll single out a couple for the hell of it...

Jarhead - encountered early in the Gallery when I first started to lurk here & blew me away. A style that appeals hugely & that feels far more painterly than pure-technique. An appealingly up & enthusiatic chap too, which counters my general demeanour pleasantly!

Scott Radom - Has narrated a path through mini-painting that I feel I've followed, if a couple of years behind! His posts about thinking he was a top notch painter, then coming here & being brought down to earth, then ploughing on to up his skills, have been inspirational. I too thought I was good before the internet side of the hobby burst my cosy bubble :shame: I won't be posting scary nuddy pics though, you're all safe :D

Quick mention - Schiraga for posting... "Pear tree is in a dead spot."
...here http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?34573-WIP-Schiraga-Iron-Man Pure poetry, still makes me smile today :) (Taggi came a close second here).

Honourable mention - DragonsReach, for posting the words "fan club". Thank you ever so much, that was a bottomless pit of cringing embarrasment I was hurtling down! Every time I think I've got to grips with this posting malarky I find another ruck in the carpet to trip over :)

Cheers, B.

So that means that at some time I've had an impact?!? YES! I am somebody! Top Of The World, Ma! <Rocky Theme Music, if you please>

Lets see, Ein, Lemminspawn, you and Suki. Ah, Ms Pony and Liz. QoC (first 'flame war',which I think that we were able to figger out and walk way as friends.) Come to think of it, problily just about everyone on this board that pushes to improve. It, you know, like helps me to work on stuff. And fills my mind with more ideas that one day! One sweet, glorius day! Will start on, let alone complete!
