Who is going to the 2005 french Games Day?

Tickets will start selling on Tuesday 4th of January, so I was wondering who from CMON is planning on coming. Will 2005 be as 2004 and host as many international participants (last year\'s Golden Daemon was really artistically rich)?

frenchkid was talking to me about a GD-CMON T-Shirt with the CMON user on it. I\'ve got some contacts for that kind of things. If others are interested, I could look up how much it would cost.

i shall be going and trying to speak some very bad french. entering one golden demon is like sooooo last year, so i will do this as an experience before the uk demons. plus i\'ll get to hassle all the top french painters for their tips on how they win the UK trophies

oh and alex_z: you better not paint the same lotr mini as me this time. its not fair what you can do with a paintbrush!

Aaaarghl cyril is coming, all hope is lost ;) Well glad you\'ll be there anyway :)
And will you all stop doing LotR minis, that\'s one of the categories I\'m entering :p

Well a litlle reminder that tickets go on sale tomorrow, so don\'t miss it if you wan\'t to be sure to get your ticket (even though I\' pretty sure they won\'t sell out in one day, but better safe then sorry :p).

aha! i suppose it\'s probably the one category we think we all might have a shot at. not very subscribed to in my experience (mostly under 16s only) due to the bad casting of the minis and the harsh restrictions on what can be done.

anyhow......i\'m loooking forward to seeing you there and seeing these entries in person :D

I\'m pretty sure, it\'s in Paris. 80% sure :þ

:edit: Yeah, it\'s in Stade de France which is in or near paris :wow:

@Medved : start practicing your french, I just got your ticket ;).

The Stade de France has an easy access metro (RER D : the semi dark green line) station (Stade de France Saint-Denis) in the north of Paris :

See you all there then I guess. I might even try to paint more than two models in an entire year this year and I think Paris is a better reason than any to produce two or three pieces. Grand Master Parkes is still undecided as to whether to split his efforts between Paris and the UK, but don\'t be surprised to see him in attendence. Mark Tait (silver 40k single Paris \'04, gold 40k monster UK \'04) is also coming. See you in April......... Joe
