I wouldnt call this guy a friend, but someone at my local game store a few years ago ( he was probably about 18 at the time) was one of the worst model builders I have ever seen.

He played chaos for warhammer 40k, and rightly so. He would squeeze the glue bottle like it was toothpaste, and use an amount of glue the size of a pea for gluing on a simple spike or skull. As if that is bad enough, his vehicles came out crooked, sometimes he wouldnt even glue the tracks on them. His infantry looked like they had tumors all over the place from all the dripping glue...

And no, he didnt play nurgle. lol

I accidentally glued my knee to the bottom of the table I was working at...I just had gotten a drop on the top of my knee without noticing, then moved and tapped my knee to the bottom of the table and it stuck... :(

I actually heard a story of a guy that woke up in the middle of the night and couldn\'t fall asleep again, so he thought he\'d assemble some models. After assembling several metal models, he went back to sleep.

The next morning, he went to the toilet and had the worst surprise ever. He realised he had spilled superglue. Lots of it. On his sensitive parts.

^ The guy who superglued his \"parts\" will be like the main character in the \"40 Year-Old Virgin\" who takes viagra and can\'t quite seem to get it down after a few hours...

One time I was half awake glueing a model together, with super glue, when I kind of passed out for a moment and hit my head on the table, I realised my model was gone. But I was so tired I just went to my bed and slept, in the morning I went to rub my eyes when I felt a hard thing on my fore head, I looked in the mirror and saw the sergeant of my squad on my head. I dont know how it happened ,but it happened. Embarassing I tell you:~( Its hard to believe but its true.

Yeah, thats something you probably shouldnt own up to too often, or in a public forum. :D

Ive stayed awake for 6 and a half days once, just to see how long I could, not quite sure which bits were real and which bits werent.

Worst?

Me.

Managed to glue one arm to a glass table, and the opposite hand to a glass at the same time. An hour with a scalpel was the only way to escape.

Did you wield the scalpel with your tongue? ;)

Reading this thread has made me feel so much better about those (not so) rare occasions when I glue my fingers together :)
