And I do not do name badges, it is an American idea that I really hate at venues like this.

It depends on where you\'ve been branded really!

If I go don\'t worry I\'ll probably be one of the tallest there. I\'ll have to stick a neon sign on my head maybe

Do they have a tannoy system at the venue, and could they do a \'big shout out to all the C\'MON masseeve\' for you guys?!

Failing that hows about someone makes a banner or a \'Golf Sale\' type sign and everyone could use it to rally round. Could also be handy for Gamesday/other events too!

Well why not if evryone is going to be there by midday anyway, just call a meeting place from the venue map now and lets doo lunch

I have been talking to Dragonsreach about a suitable place to meet up as I didn\'t make last years show and last year was the first time at the Excel Centre here is what he has had to say about it:

\"Since the Excel is in the middle of Fr****n nowhere, outside is just the Docklands. Great view of the (Now) 2nd biggest waste of taxpayers money, the Millenium Dome. There are several Costa Coffee shops in the mall entrance, which must be close to a mile in length and there are several seating areas where we could congregate outside of Salute itself. I\'d suggest that people wanting to meet up look at the map and if it\'s the same Hall as last year come out of the Salute venue and turn Right where there were plenty of seats.\"

What does everyone want to do meet up at the start or meet up later in the day?

I would suggest later in the day as would give people a chance to have a look around at their own pace initially then have a walk around as a group later when it is quieter (well might be quieter)

Yeah i think a bit later would be best. Give chance to get there and settle in and spend too much money!

I wouldn\'t expect to win anything...i bet Margo is going to enter something for a start...not to mention all the other godly painters. I would enter something just for the sake of being part of it all.

I will be finding out next week if my main reason for going to London fits in with Salute.

I will probably enter the comp in one or two categories depending on what I get finished, I am not planning on bringing any other figures with me though.

I am still awaiting my ticket to arrive it\'s been 12 days now so it should be here soon (he says hopefully).

I think most people want to have a look around first and meet later in the day so it would probably be best for us all to meet in the mall outside where there is an abundance of coffee shops by all acounts although no time has been set yet maybe around 12:00 - 13:00???

Marytn: That sounds about right.
Mind you there is a slim possibility we will bump into each other inside the venue.

I\'ll be bringing two figures to enter into the competitions and perhaps some for people to look at.
And as someone mentioned earlier if anyone wants some advice / suggestions I\'m more than willing to look at other peoples stuff. Whether my suggestions are any good or not is a matter for conjecture.)
