Who wants to see a new CMON annual??

To make it happen, we need help! See borg\'s post HERE!
He needs the help of someone who knows about pHp programming to help with the creation of a new annual along with site maintainence. I\'d love to help myself if I had any technical know-how, but all I can do is get the word out to anyone who does and would want to help.

If you\'re able to help please pm or email borg at borg@coolminiornot.com! Then we could look forward to a new annual, site revisions, new painting contests, etc, etc!

I think EricJ does something along the lines of computer graphics and layout work. Grumb does security, not programming, and I\'m mostly a hardware guy. How many CMONers know how to script apps? I mean besides tagging in HTML/BBcode? ???

I would have helped out if I had better knowledge of php, but I only know some quite basic stuff.

You \'re doing better then me, I haven\'t programmed since the 70\'s. The stuff I was doing looks like Cave Paintings compared to todays languages. lol

I remember when my brother got a computer in the early 80s. He taught me to write some simple stuff in Basic. I thought it was soooo awesome!! I did stuff like \'guess a number\' and such things...

I learnt some server-side script programming about 6 years ago because a friend of mine was going to fix a job for me. Then, a few weeks before I was to start the whole business went down the toilet and I got a completely different job instead. Haven\'t done any programming since...

I\'m waiting for Borg to give his opinion on this, but I think it would be best, that way there wouldn\'t be any problems like real life getting in the way or such stuff (there\'s bound to be at least one of us to find the time in the week to get things done ). A CVS server would be needed then to take care of collaborative work. But I suppose Chern Ann must have something like that already in place .
