Thats one way of looking at it I guess :D If you pay for membership at a golf club you are looking at around £800 more in some cases less in others depending on how exclusive the club is.

I know at least one person who\'d be interested in the new IG models *cough*thedeathcorps*cough* lol
But yeah, as I said in another thread, i\'d much rather buy other stuff for 900 quid.
I can see what vikes saying though! I got a FW revenant titan and even thinking about painting it\'s made my head hurt! Still, I think it was worth it for the amount of time i\'ll spend on it (and less time in the bars! lol So even cheaper!)

I Would NOT buy the manta...I have no interest in large 40K stuff.

Now..if that was some giant D&D real scale dragon or tiamat or something cool for my lizardmen ...well then I\'d have to see if I could afford it with Shilpa, the home, shilpa again, honeymoon, etc :D

Sanjay
Hye snajay.

Ok. Honestly. Forge World puts out some really nice stuff. But I wouldn\'t buy it for that price. I am lookuing at buying some resin models in the future, but I can get equal quality, at competitive prices.

Edit* I thought about it some more. I would probably buy them. But only one or two. I just want a couple to paint. I don\'t play IG.

Are you not the pants wearer?!

Men, we need to stop letting these women have say over us. Are we a generation of girly-men? Bowing down to the female?

This is how I do it!!

Quietly squirrel away my allowance dollar at a time(that SHE grants me) and then secretly order mini stuff, but have it shipped to the neighbors....wait till she is sleeping (I can tell because of the loud snoring sounds)...sneak out to the neighbors at a pre-determined time (lest you be shot) and retrieve said mini stuff.

Quietly hide it away to look at longingly when SHE is away to have her hair done.

Never speak of it. EVER. SHE is much smarter about these things that we realize.

Real man here!

I don\'t get it. where the hell would i put it. Its bigger than my living room  Seriously though i can\'t see many folk buying this i mean you can only create things soo big and costly before it becomes a non profitable product. Its just way too expensive. I need to win the lotto and even then you have got to ask yourself, do i really want to spend a year cleaning/assembling and painting it...no thanks

*coughs* I\'ll accept the commission if you\'ve got the cash. *coughs*

Gotta hand it to you Vikey, your a real smooth operator. :]
I prefer the guilt trip tecnique. She moans about new minis/paint/etc... You remind her of the pair of £100 shoes she\'s worn once in her life.

Another way of going about it is to quickly buy it and paint it. Then when you are playing with it and she comes, quickly put it on your head.

When she enters the room ask her if she likes your new hat.

It\'s FW;so all you have to worry about is giant potholes in the resin. You should get a Gallon of green stuff with every order.

I must be lucky then I have not had any pot holes yet (famous last words good job my elbows are on a wooden desk) but the size of this thing will mean your GF/wife probably won\'t get into the room in the first place :D and that is not even taking into account the weight of the thing as well.

And make sure none of her friends share their opinions about your hobby:D

Good thing I got that crap squared before it got worse.:)

Never speak of it?!?! You mean you can\'t run around the house squeling like a girl and rubbing the blister packs against your face? That explains alot of my problems. lol

Another option is, paint it, park it in the driveway and say you got a new \'car\' :D

It\'s almost as big as those british cars :p
