as for not to be that off topic: I suspect too, that the freehand nude has a lot to do with the better score.
speaking of which I may start a similar thread in the future, but comparing only my submissions and asking what was wrong with it compared to my other pics.

I like the banner on the first one lol kinky, just like slaanesh should be. I too was pretty annoyed when i first put some pics up for voting because they got lower scores than i thought they deserved, but it's just the way the system is and i don't take any notice of it anymore it doesn't reflect my painting skill or the effort i put into them.

Yeah I get a bit WTF over scores sometimes, but then I eat a slice of cake and watch some porn and somehow it doesn't seem to matter anymore...

hey folks,
yeah its easy to get p"@/'d off at the voting system. having looked back, I still stand by my original comment in that despite the 'freehand' on the weapon its still a high score. I appreciate everybody's comments and realise it isn't cool to compare but as the website is 'cool mini or not' sometimes i feel less sycophantic than i possibly should.
truly, my photography is crap!
I admire so much of what is on here and credit everybody with their talent (a rare thing) and hope that in the future i can post pics that mirror my work.
since my last pic i have changed direction loads and recently painted a nurgle lord, ork warboss, terminator lord, 2 rhulic warjacks and a mixed up slaanesh champion (lucius based). all different to my last style. lol, havent the balls to photograph them!

On topic (Although cake should be a constant topic), yeah it's easy to see something you might think worse than something you've done rated higher. Just do what I do and snipe the s*it out of all their work =D
But seriously no, don't do that, that's bad form. Just pick yourself up by the bootstraps and let it drive you to be even better than you are regardless of how "inferior" that other guys work is. It's all about slapping paint on little blocks of lead at the end of the day, albeit in a strategic manner...Like some kina paint chess wooo...
