why isnt it working???

i want to change my avatar and upload my own one, i have reduced the picture so it is 49pixels wide and 4KB size, everything under what is required, but it keeps apearing a red cross when i click \"upload info\". Im getting crazy! Can anybody help me?

Is it jpeg or GIF, I\'ve had problems with jpeg avatars but I converted them to GIF and now it works fine.

ok thanks guys ill wait till tomorrow and put the little dog again if it hasnt changed hehe it was GIF but it was 9k so i changed it to JPG so it is under 5k now, i couldnt make it smaller by cutting the pic or you wouldnt see itlol

Yeah i\'m still seeing the cross, not the dark elf as your avatar, pretty strange that some see it and some don\'t, maybe its best to just wait a while and it might start appearing properly?

Do a hard refresh to make sure you are seeing the current picture rather than a cached one as well. I\'m presuming you returned it to the dog Albert - although I did see the previous picture too.
