I know this one has been done a lot, and call any resemblance to Cyril\'s version a poor homage. It\'s my favourite mini on the site, and I just wanted to have a crack myself. I am tempted to add some snow to the base, as this was the look I intended. Any comments?

Watch out Cyril.....

I think you are aiming a bit high there, because Cyril is some sort of alien with godlike powers.

You\'ve come pretty close though and I would definitely give that a strong 9.

Nice one Scott!

(Sorry for sniping those Goffik Rockers on eBay:D )

Awesome, Munkie. Very good, although some parts look like they need a bit more layering, like the blue shading on the robe, and some of the steel on her gun. The fur\'s awesome, though, and the gold is cool.

EDIT: Ahh, the picture\'s broken, so I can\'t give any more comments. The ones I gave are from memory...

Very nice, Scott! That mini is one of my fav sculpts and I plan to paint one myself some day. Now I have two amazing versions of it to get inspiration from, no three, Cyril\'s, yours and Fluffy\'s. I like your colour scheme, probably the best one fo the three. Post it so we can vote!

*edit* OK, i found the link to the post and voted on it. Seems my head works kind of slowly today... :innocent:

Fantastic. Snow is almost a must on this mini due to the fluffy collard Russianesque appearance. Is that one of your own resin casted bases because that will get you extra points.

Sweet, just looking at her gives me the shivers. But enemy snipers do that to me.

but you are right, it needs snow. Look around for a thread about skinny dragonlance minis. Some wonderful snow there.

excellent!

yes, add some snow...

The rifle is incredible. You really have the NMM technique mastered.

If I may be slightly critical, i think some of the bluish color on the robe looks like it could use some more transition.

Easily a 9 though...

nice

Great mini, great colors, yes give it snow.

The steel on the rifle is absolutely fantastic. I\'m very impressed. 9.5.

Beautifully done, Munkie! Love this mini. Just bought a set off of someone to get this mini. You definitely have NMM down. Not a fan, particularly, but may have to reconsider after seeing this.

thats one really beautiful looking paint-job you did Spacemunkie.....

I like the way you have shaded the white, it really makes her clothes pop out.....

I\'d love to paint this one. Pity it\'s only available in a boxset. Well maybe one day when I have started and finished painting my Menoths and get tired of those and want to start with Khador...ha, never gonna happen!
Anyway, neat paint job you have there. The rusty base is goody, just the gold NMM is something that in my book doesn\'t fit with whole image. It\'s just a bit too nice if you know what I mean (hell, I don\'t even know what I mean). Oh and it looks like you tried to paint shadows on the coat from the gun, sword, etc.? Would make sense but it looks strange because you painted them solely on the coat and not say the shadow the sword sheath throws on the two bags. The way it is now it just doesn\'t look right.

Wow.

A original color scheme!

I like it.

Seems like ou were born with a brush in hand. :)

The gold and steel are fantastic.

Voted and commented (my first comment).

@ Gypsy: The harsh shadows aren\'t painted on, but are a consequence of lazy flash photography - I should re-shoot, but can\'t be arsed!:D

Nice banner S - should get some hits with that!

EDIT: Errr... you need to link it to your page....... :);)

Thanks munkie.

Haven\'t done a site yet, working on it at the moment, the banner was the first thing I done.

I\'m glad you like it. Thanks.

Any way you think I could improve it?
