Wight Lord bust by SJB

Recently I had the opportunity to paint something rather different than the 28mm stuff I\'m known for. I painted up a 1:6th scale bust of a Wight Lord as sculpted by my good friend Neil Roberts (Ash here on coolmini though he rarely gets to visit these days due to his not having net access).

An interesting challenge and a lot of fun.

i realy think that the painting is great, but it looks like it could do with some different colour hues in his face, i know he is dead and all, but it would make it look more realistic.. but it still is v. cool

the armour looks a bit flat, but that could just be the pic...

If i had a developmental point it would be to change the colour of the wooden sign slightly to move it away in hue from the face. That may just be entirely me though
