I\'m ASSUMING this about the gay fella on Sopranos?

I don\'t watch it AVIDLY, but it\'s pretty good.

The final episode airs this Sunday night. 6 years waiting to see what finally happens to Tony and his crew.

My opinion

Theres 5 possible ends for Tony that make sense as far as I can see:

Dead
Coma / Seriously Injured
Prison
Witness Protection
Just another episode and we are all left waiting for the movie

Unless he\'s actually already dead / comatose from Junior\'s shooting and everything since then is bollocks....

Whaddyathink ?

I\'d go with the \'just another episode\' option. Prison wouldn\'t fit in well with the show, witness protection dosn\'t seem like a tony thing, and I can\' t really see them leaving off with a dead or dying tony.

I LOVE THE SOPRANOS!

Personally i think Tony is going to be left with no one and face the consequences of being a Soprano. Phil has to die, that seems inevitable to me, and maybe little Carmine will play a major role in the last episode. Who knows?

The has also been talks of Dimeo (SP?) family coming out of prison and intervening, but they could be dead, as there has been no mention of them for a few seasons.

Also im a bit wary of Patsy, he is still mad at Tony for killing his brother and isn\'t as loyal as Sil or Paulie.

As for them making a film, iv heard rumors for and against, also rumors that it would be a prequel, personally I think its pointless.

He (Vito) is long gone. Was wacked by Phil, literally \'coming out of the closet\' and two soldiers. (A bit of inshow irony)

??? What were you expecting? A scarface style bloodbath?

IMO that would have been completely out of character for the show, and doesn\'t fit any directing style previously seen.

Being in the \'family\' isn\'t about killing eveyone you have a problem with.

The last scene was, in no other way, perfect. The tension that was built up gave the best look into Tony\'s lifestyle than any other part of the show\'s 6 seasons. Trying to love his family while balancing it with his work, and the paranoia involved.

The cut off leaves it to the imagination, brilliant writing. Evil  but perfectly evil!

*EDIT* Plus remeber every season has a very \'action packed\' 2nd last episode, leaving the last to tie up loose ends. With this season, we saw a very warring 2nd last episode, with the killing of Bobby plus others and the hospitalisation of Sil, the last episode however tied up the war with the sit down with little Carmine (as I predicted, and will now take rightful place as boss of the New York family.)
But the one thing it didn\'t resolve was Tony part in the war, which as I stated is a perfect ending.
