William's Return to Painting

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've posted anything. I've been busy with work and commissions for a few clients but it is time to begin painting for myself again. With several shows coming up and my hopes to attend Monte San Savino I need to push my skills.
So today I began trying a new way to paint flesh using a limited palette. I used Yellow, Red, Blue, and White. It still needs some smoothing over and some more work but it is coming along.



These are the last two pieces I painted. The first is the new Solitaire from Games Workshop.





This is one of the few figures I painted this year. A Terror Tot from Wyrd.

i like the idea of the restricted palette and it seems to be taking shape nicely. I love that base on Solitaire.

Andy i watched the eclipse and it was a bit of a let down tbh.

Maybe I'll find my way to the UK next year!

Anyway, I've completed another piece! This piece is for Wyrd's Iron Painter. The model is Pellejo Bill from Tale of War Miniatures. Great sculpt! Had a ton of fun sculpting the base and painting this guy!

Thanks guys! I'm onto my next piece this week! It's either a Reaper figure, for their show next weekend, or another Tale of War figure! I can't decide which to do first! haha
