Windsor and Newton Brushes

Anyone any idea where I can get these in Australia? My local art shops don\'t have them.

Failing that I\'ll be in the UK in August, so where is good in the UK?

Depends where you are going. One of the best stores I know of is in Newcastle (upon Tyne). They do online ordering:
HERE
They might post out to Oz.
But if you\'re going to London there\'s got to be 100\'s of art shops in the \'Smoke\'.

Um, they don\'t seem to have any in stock at that link, unless I\'m being blind, which is possible...

I did notice they had mixed sable and synthetic, has anyone tried those?

hmm...

I bought mine here

http://www.dixieart.com/FineArts/Winsor_and_Newton_Series_7_and_707_Brushes.html

but it looks like there prices went up since I ordered.

If you are still having trouble getting them, I could get some in the states and send them on to you in the mail!

Let me know if I can help out in any way....

I call my distributor today, and they do carry the series 7 brushes, but they are currently out of them, pretty popular item I see, so as soon as they get them , you will see them in the on-line store. Many painters swear by them. I personally want to see if they are really that special.

Cross\'s Art shops are in quite a few places in the UK they stock both W&N series7 & series7 \'miniature\' ranges, or at least the ones in Maidstone & Canterbury do,

I was going to tell you where to find the london graphic centre but Dragonpaint has beat me to it. I have seen them in there and theres more winsor and newton than you can shake a stick at. More in fact than all the brushes in my local store put together.
