Hello chaps/chapettes, I\'ve got two links here to some basic photos of WIPs. They are small, they are not complete.

I am having painter\'s block. Don\'t paint much but want to but can\'t even though I want to as it makes me happy so I remain unhappy and want to improve but don\'t paint and it is becoming a pain FULLSTOP (and breathe!)

You are my only hope. Why do I need to paint? Because it used to bring me such joy. How will I paint again? By having people prodding me (non-sexually) and cajoling.

You are my salvation

You need to sit your arse down and pick up that brush and finish these so we can see some bigger pics of finished minis because these look great so far, as far as you can see from those small pics! How\'s that? Should I add some more exclamation points? lol

Don\'t see much of a problem with them

I looked at both of those mini Rev and they look pretty darned good to me. I wish I could paint half as well. You just got to make yourself sit down and paint to get through the block. I know, it happened to me this year as well. I got burnt out doing some commission pieces and didn\'t hardly paint for three months. Still having a bit of problem, but I just made myself sit down and paint one night and ended up painting until 5:00 AM!

What worked for me was pushing aside the stuff tht I had been working on for a while and picking up a couple of completely different minis and starting fresh. Then I was able to go back to the \"nearly completed\" projects.

Thanks chaps. I\'ll have to just tough it out! Ritual, I want to see more of those exclamation marks you hear me? Every time you breathe, fart, burp, speak, scratch, poke, wrinkle, fester, sing, shout, wrestle, etc., I want to see TWENTY exclamation marks at least lol

Grumb, I did the new figs thing and bought a skaven warlock and an undead chap or two. I started priming the undead standard bearer and feel that\'s the way forward at this point. God bless us all

Rev, great to see you posting again. I was afraid we had lost you.

The space guy looks FINE.
The dwarf needs his axe finished. How can a dwarf work with an unpainted axe? He would get excommuncated from the dwarven village. Sit down, put on some of your favorite music (gregorian chants?), ask for a little divine guidance and get the brush moving.

your skills certainly haven\'t diminished any since the last thing of yours I have seen.

I find that for painters block the best way to overcome it is to just immerse yourself in the hobby for a bit.

Browse through the pics here on CMON, read some of the \'fluff\' novels GW puts out, look at the coverage of the Golden Demon awards. Before you know it, the painters block melts away and you cannot wait to get back to the brushes...

It is good to have you back BTW.

My shameless plugging of my painting woes has brought me back within the fold and now it\'s only a matter of time afore I introduce my own radical form of Catholicism and set up a new militant state with me at the head! Mwahahaahaaaa!

I got me a date from a gimp based in Bristol He\'ll \"...show me the ropes\" or some such. I asked him to bring the disk, which made him giggle. Don\'t know quite what to expect :duh:

In reality, I went to a site and just got so bored with it I stopped bothering! Very long-winded, but thanks all the same Miss Z!
