The bone stuff was very simple on this guy.
Graveyard Earth, mixed in Bleached Bone for hilights. Towards the end I used pure Bleached Bone, and then a final hilight with some white mixed in.
The sash was Scab Red, shaded with a bit of either purple or brown mixed in. I can\'t remember and it\'s hard to tell from the pics
Anyway I mix Blood Red for hilights, and before it gets too bright I start mixing in Blazing Orange. This was then glazed with a mix of red and purple ink very thinned down.

After all this I still can\'t figure out how to paint the mouth of his Banshee mask. Ugh

Hrm, so I got just about zero work done on deadline day today. Kinda sucks, I hurt my back trying to \"unstuck\" my car from the snow this morning. It\'s not too bad, but it\'s at the stage where just about anything can make it worse. So 8 hours hunched over a painting table wasn\'t the top of my priority list.
And then after all that disappointment I remembered why I don\'t try to paint stuff for contests anymore... something always happens to make life miserable
Anyway I think it\'ll be cool to go and meet some new painters even if I don\'t have any entries. It\'s funny how I started painting everything but GW minis just before this big local GW contest... didn\'t really think that one through!
