WIP Bloodcrusher, alternate color scheme

As few of you know i am trying a differnt approach to my demons.... at least for the bloodletters.
im doing a cyber-demon theme, with the bloodletters as a cool blue color instead of red. here is the wip bloodcrusher and a blood letter for a reference of the letter's look.

i like the concept.i would have done a pale blue skine tone as the dark blue drowns out the model and makes it become blocky.

i was thinking that but i don't want it to end up too bright, as i try to make a source light from above where higher things are lighter. Also i am continuting the color brightness increase to the rider which will be a brighter icy blue that fades into an almost white

Any chance of posting some larger pictures? It looks good from what I can see, but larger pictures would help.
