WIP Boubi - Re-launch

I have decided to re-launch my WIP with one mini at a time, let's see how this is going to happen.
So As written in another post I have started to plan my next mini, actually I have already went through the planning and now I already started to paint.

I will paint the biopist from Rakcham, here the reference pictures I have used:

Then I have already prepared a base:

And I have started the mini, as you can see for the skin I wanted some structure to add something interesting, then also a non natural skin, like a toad or a poisonous animal, some leather, for the rest I will compose from the other pictures:

What do you think about the skin?

Good to see a new wip mate . Real good start and I like the alien effects on the skin.

Welcome back and neat mini. I think the skin color will work. What other colors do you plan on working into the skin?

Thank you guys, I plan to let the skin like it is, but I hesitate to add satin varnish here and there. What do you think?
Then I start working on the cloth while finishing the leather.
For the front cloth I will use a dark greenish blue, going toward a dark red brown with some texture.

Here some progress of the biopist. I have made the inner cloth a gradient from dark blue to dark red, the highlight part was quite tricky.
The flag was quickly done just to give an idea of the color combinations, I was not sure with the red of the inner cloth beside. But it seems to work for me. There are lots of touch up and making the blend smoother.

I like the gradient on the inner cloth very cool. The banner will work once you have tidied it up some more.
