Started this guy a few days ago after a long hunt for him. It is no longer produced so it took me a long time to finally get my hands on him. He is an excellent figure and actually a very easy and stress free paint so far. I am thinking about doing a brokendown partial staircase behind him and a junked up wood or stone floor. I am thinking he has just cornered his prey in the corner of a basement or something. Let me know your thoughts about the painting so far and what you think of the potential base setting.

Staircase & stone floor sound absolutely perfect. Maybe with a family portrait hanging crooked on the wall?
The paint job look good as well, smooth, dark, and moody. the model itself reminds me a bit of Blackadder's Lord Flashheart. :D

Oh, what would be funny is if you'd put him in front of a mirror... ^^

thanks for the feedback and glad you like the idea. Speaking of funny, I almost altered his arm to be pointing down and have the tip of the sword against a mouse's nose. This would have made the base too big I think because that sword is so long. I am trying to find another copy of this guy and maybe do it on the next one. I have the companion figure to this guy that may be even better since he is kind of covering up while pointing his sword. This is what he looks like.

Did some work on the base by building the staircase and making some stuff for the ground. I'll start painting on it today only stopping to cheer on the OK state cowboys tonight in football.

thank you sir. I have been painting him like a mad man today (heavy rain hear all day) so he is getting close. I hope to finish the project tomorrow and post him on here. Thank you again for taking a look at him.

Looks great. Never noticed the wee purple thing at first. The broken railing is a nice touch. Really impressed with how it all come together.
