I would suggest that you upload them on photobucket and post the pics right into the topic, it\'s a great timesaver, and you can get the pic standing aswell ;P

the purple doesnt look right, it looks purple rather than like shading, i think you need more blending to go on as you go down, and mix some red into the purple, this will help keep it red, but have the purpleness for shading

as for colours im not sure, itd be niec if the pic was rotated so i didnt have to tilt my head(i cant get the view of it)

I have found that a few fine glazes of very thinned black ink really add depth to cloth, and make the highlights \'pop\' although they were previously worked up from black.

theres examples in the last 2 submissions of my gallery if you would like a look.

Nice work so far, I like the stubble and the armour plates on the thigh.

Thanks OrkyDave.

Love your preist looks awesome, When you add the glazes how do you stop it from gathering in patches and in the folds is it basically just black water? Going to work on the neck guard again to make it more like the chest and leg armour

Cheers for the comments:beer:

*you cant stop thinned paint from pooling where it pools, because water will always go to the recesses, you can control how it appears though

drag your shade towards the darkest from the lightest, this will allow you to shade in a gradual flow

as for your red, it needs more contrast, you need dark and you need bright to give it better depth

i like shading everything with purples, red i like with browns for a darker red(scorched brown is also slightly purpley)
