HEY-YA\'LL!!!
I\'m working on this orc, right. This is my first attempt to paint a full mini in, hmm maybe 2 years. And I am going for a used, battered and beaten look. I mean, this lil orcs been trekkin the wastelands doin it all...
The color scheme I\'ve so far chosen for my shield is one of Cyril\'s... Basically, turn the shoulder armor, into a square tower shield shape, and thats what I got.

Now, this looks slightly yellowish, and I painted scratches and dents using browns, and the whole thing seems a little odd. I\'m unsure if the yellowishness of the shield with bode well with a green orc skin tone or what not.
Any advice on maybe adding some glazes to the shield to make a less awkward color, or perhaps, keep the shield the way it is and do something to the orc skin different?
Well... how bou\', I get some criticizm on this, and all jokes aside, I do appreciate (thoughtful) criticizm much more than compliments.
Also, the helmet, I was trying to get worn and what not, now it looks like a bad attempt at Gold NMM.. so maybe a glaze to turn my yellow metals into some more iron, beat up lookin metals is really needed.... ho hum.!
