I really like the piece - I think the theme has a lot of warmth and character. I do agree that the mould lines need to go of course -- but I think that if you go back in and take care of those you will have a really brilliant piece here.

The scenes good, but as everyone has said the mould lines really bring it down. This is the best use of glitter paints iv seen you do though!

But I didn\'t use glitter on this one. I used metalics. The blue is a metalic and the purple is technically called a \"pearl\" which is sort of like a glazy metalic. (Both are actually craft paints btw.)

I\'ve also had some say they didn\'t like the translucent purple base. Such is life.

Mold lines - they gotta go.
A bit of brown ink on that wood would really make the grain pop and set off the metal straps.
A darker (not dark) flesh wash would help the toes and fingers and some of the other bits pop out better on the babes.
Finally, the girl setting up needs to have her hand actully be on the board to look right.

I\'ve painted that harem bird sat on the cushion, and she did have some really unfortunate mould lines, going down one breast and her leg.

A combination of careful scalpel work and a not very good attempt at assistance with green stuff helped a fair bit, but it still wasn\'t perfect. Don\'t give up on those lines, a bit of effort on them will really pay off.

Also to continue with what airhead said, try cutting away the bit of base that is raising the figure off the ground (I presume its a bit of metal rail thingy) so that she is flush to the ground and it will look much more natural.
