WIP Kelt Barbarian - Update #1

I really like confrontation minis, I think the sculpts are incredible. Apparently they are not going to produce metal minis anymore so I bought up all of the minis I just had to have (I will be painting for the rest of my life and still have minis left). This is a WIP just showing steps on what I have completed. I am practicing for my own tutorial on washes. It is also for critique purposes so let me know if you have any suggestions.

The skin is all I am working on right now. Basecoat of Desert Yellow, shaded with small amounts of Graveyard Earth and highlighted with bleached bone and a little white.

Looks great. Interesting choice of colors for the skin but it turned out very nice.

I agree- it\'s a nice change from the \"straight out the pot\" skin tones. Looking forwards to seeing how this progresses.

this guy is lookin\' a bit more egyptian than celtic, with the skintone and all, but well done...

rackham is actually still releasin\' metal minis, they are just limited runs...
the legends line(the old metals) has had 2 new pieces added...one is belial(a demon), and the other is a special apostate of darkness...no news on what the next guy will be...

i too have a huge stockpile of rackham stuff...way too good to pass up...

look forward to seein\' the result on this guy...

Some new pics. I started on the axe and I am doing it in NMM. I have never used this technique and could use some help so any suggestions on how to make the axe better are greatly appreciated! Feel free to critique the progression so far as well.
