WIP Need help!

OK I\'ve been painting this mini for a few hours now and I need some help. I\'m having some trouble coming up with what I should line the breast plate and gauntlent with. I was going to do rust iron NMM but the inlays are oxyadized copper. Now with the gauntlent I was also going to do the rings on it as gold. But now I don\'t know. So I need your help. heres the pic.

Ahh, yeah, I think I did. Honestly, I\'m not having any great flashes of inspiration. All of your ideas sound great, and I can\'t really think of anything better. Sorry

Thanks, Thats my problem too. I really just don\'t know what to do. The rusty iron and gold are the leading ideas, I think I\'m just going to have to do them and then pick one.

Copper and Iron together form an electolytic cell, which corrodes the Iron very strongly, There would be very little Iron left just heavly rusted lumps.
I\'d therefore suggest that you reconsider and use Brass or Gold for the edges.
