nr1 source of inspiration :D

a small thing I forgot in my first post:

The robe is as smooth as canbe, it looks uneven, as I\'m not the best sculptor, I used varnish to even out small cracks and holes, follow by some polishing with superfine-grade sandpaper

Looking decent so far.
My suggestion: add some folds to the jacket. The back needs some folds to prevent the \"blob\" effect.

Some profile pics would be great as well.
He seems a bit stubby from the front, might just be the pic though.

I tried to sculpt some folds, but they didnt look like folds, so I dropped them out, Im going to add a knife and a crossbow or pistol to hi sback, thats why its so flat ^^

Crossbow slung across his back... good solution and it will look cool as well.
I understand what you mean about the folds. I have trouble making mine look good also.

I\'ll be watching this project with interest.
Cool concept, and it\'s coming along nicely.

I have to say that I really love your bases, especially the second one - nice detail and realistic effects. The ogre seems just a little rough in comparison (the shirt in particular) but I\'m sure you\'ll smooth all that out by the time you\'ve finished it.

The overall conversion work is pretty good too. I look forward to seeing it finished.

I know its a little late for me to be giving you feedback on your sculpt since you have painted it but maybe my comment will help you for the next one.

You have applied the greenstuff far too thick. You need to thin it down more. I have had this problem and its an easy thing to do. I sometimes apply greenstuff to a sculpt only to realize that thats theres way too much. IMO you should half the amount you think is it actually is. I think that will come with experience. If you don\'t like the look of something then don\'t be afraid to cut it out and try again.

Nice idea and a good job on the blade though

the reason its so thick is:

a) I figured that would be a hardwearing leather-cloak, able to protect him from both cold and arrows (Rhinox-leather as it is)

b) It was too flimsey to make any thinner, I tried, but it kept on changing form all the time
