Hello,
So I\'m working on this project founded in a great passion of mine, one of my favourite paintings by Alan Lee (as seen below). The scene enbodies everything I love about Lord of the rings; The mysterious environoment, the feeling of adventure, the fellowship creeping through dark landscapes towards hidden danger. I have so far done the basic painting, the next step is to add leaves twigs etc. to make the environment more real, it\'s a bit sterile at the moment.
The finished piece will have the entire fellowship outside the gates in as similar poses to the painting as I can convert them.
I once did a similar piece with just Gandalf outside the gates, but much smaller and what will be insignificant compared to this one, I hope
It\'s all scratch built, the water is envirotex lite, the trees are sculpted from green stuff and twigs.
Anyway, I will try too keep updating with fellowship conversions and progress pictures!
