WELL

OK,

I was in the same position as you about a year ago,

Marines,

Looking good, you have the basics, keep the paint watered down, and your basing should be done last of all, (unless it is extravagant or integral to inspiration) These are WIP\'S as you said so once you have painted the details, Eyes, Chest Cloth Guns etc, stand backa nd take a look something still missing? Highlights, personally i hate highlighting, im rubbish at it, (Anyone else care to comment?) You should use a flat brush on the edges and gently apply a fine high light, try to think of painting nmm, and where is the light coming from? some people highlight everywhere and sometimes it works and sometiems it does not, marines look good with either, so experiment if you can?

Beastman, again keep paints waterdown, to get a good furry look use waterdown ink and it will go to all the nooks and crannys, try to blend the hoofs and horns,

Highelf?

Looks good again ink is the key to simple gold armour, i like to use flesh wash on my gold but chestnut ink works great, blue or green for something different?

Over all good painting keep it up and more pictures please,

Cheers Iain.
