To continue Donna\'s track of humour in this thread:

18: When one of your colleagues asks; What did you do in the War then? (and you were born 10 years after it ended ( True. Just happened to me before Christmas. ))

19: You watched the Moon Landing on TV. (and didn\'t even consider that there could ever be a conspiracy theory about it )

20: You were taught to \"Duck & Cover\" at school.

LasIK or lasEK ... ?

I had LasEK done a while ago, so I understand your trpidation...!

I\'m not sure about lasIK, but MY opertaion was absolutely painless - although I\'ll admit I took that valium!!

As advised - be sure to get some nice dark shades, preferably wraparounds to totally cover ur eyes.

They should also give you some really gay-looking goggles to protect your eyes when you sleep - they\'re annoying to wear, but you don\'t wanna rub them!!

GOOD LUCK

I\'d have to say, though I don\'t want my ladies to be as big as two of me, they shouldn\'t be built like a twelve year old boy either!

Well, it took me longer to respond...

...but only because I\'ve had to catch up on all the stuff I didn\'t do while lying around not looking at anything! :D

Have to say that they DID NOT give me nearly enough Valium. A measley 5 mg didn\'t even come near calming me down!

I managed to get through it, but I had a hard time when I could smell burning flesh and knew it was my eyeball on fire. That part was kind of hard to ignore!

I\'m seeing as well as Grumb now and everyone says it\'s only going to get better.

Thanks for all the well-wishes and Donna/DR - I really needed those laughs!! Thanks!

Hi DR!! Sorry I missed your birthday...so, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! :bouncy:

I\'d actually thought about painting something for FF\'s Femme Fatale contest, but my eyes still get tired and dry out VERY quickly when I try to do detail work. I\'ve been making scented soaps instead lately! :D Still creative but you don\'t have to look through a magnifying glass to find the mold!

I thought I\'d wait until after my check-up appt. (tomorrow) before trying to start anything like a mini. (Not that I haven\'t started one and never finished it before...no, never!)

It is good to be back, though! Cheers -

Glad to see you back Dawn! Makes me wonder if I should think about getting soemthing like that done someday... My eyesight is horrible, I\'m both myoptic and astigmatic. The idea is scary though, I\'ll remember to ask for more thna 5 mg of valium if I do!

And, hey, if you don\'t want to paint something for the FF contest, that\'s OK with me. (less competition, haha!) But I do believe I sent you a very nice mini the other year that would be great for it! ;)

Take care! Glad it went well!

 Hey! welcome back Dawn, glad your eyesight has improved. :)

I’m sure as you returned home and gazed about you....these profound thoughts entered your head “Where the hell did all this Dirt come from?!?!?!?”

at least these were the words out of my Mom\'s mouth after she had cataracts removed. LOL
