Witch Hunter & Grey knight Terminator

They look as though they are nicely painted, especially the Grey Knight. Do yourself a favour though - repost with better pics! The Witch Hunter pics are terrible and it is really difficult to make any detail out!

I\'m agreeing with Spacemunkie on both of those. The pictures aren\'t doing either figure justice, which is a shame. Both paintjobs look pretty good but the details are not clear.
Re-Shoot, Re-Post and I\'ll be delighted to give them the more than once over. (Might even have to put you on the Hammer watching list. !)

Hmm, OK, thanks for the advice.. i\'ll rework the pics when I my brother leaves(all the pictures are on his PC)
I\'m having some lighting problems too, slowly working my way forward figuring out what\'s best to use.
And BTW, do you like the background ? I know I\'ve been using it a while and liked it when I found it but I\'m not so sure now.

painting suggestions
I\'m old school, so I use a lot of metallic paints as well. I would suggest on the golds buying a second color, and do
your edges with light gold. Mix black in
and make yourself a dark gold to bring
out detail.
I\'m not a big fan of the Old Space Wolf
colors on Grey Knights but to fix your
existing piece add white to your \'blue\'
a bit of water, and redo all the edging,
especially the surface ridges of the
Termie armor. It won\'t take much time.
On the blade edge do the same thing,
white and silver along the highest ridge,
so it is a lighter color. If you\'ve got more
time take a 10/0 brush and get some very
fine black lines in any crevass/line areas
on the mini. Metallics look better if you can
get 3-4 shades of paint by mixing in black for darker areas, white for lighter areas.
Alwasys mix with water so your brush doesn\'t load. My apologies if you\'ve done
this , but I can\'t see it from the pic.

Warhammer: Thanks for the tips, but it\'s only a gaming mini so I\'m going to continue doing it this way throughout the army. But I\'ve had some rather unhappy moments trying to add white in mithril silver for highlights, and I like shading gold with brown ink glazes more than adding black. But I agree that the termie needs one last extreme highlight, it\'s just Codex Grey, + fortress grey for highlights so i\'ll add in more fortress grey and give it a go tonight.
