Looking for something gothic that would look very nice with metallics and good on a valkyrie. If you have any ideas PM me or say on this thread.

If you say gothic, that immediately suggests black to me and black goes well with everything. Combine that with some strong colour that look good with the metallics you plan to use and maybe a bit of white or bone white, which also works with basically everything.

1. It\'s only been 2 hours since your first post !!! You know, some people have a life as strange as that may seem.

2. This is a painting forum not a gaming one so most people have no idea what a Valkyrie is. A link or pic always helps :

3. To get back on topic : gothic + metallics = black + red + steel. I\'d go for something like the grey and red Valkyrie on the Forge World site but replace the grey with black. The front red part could use some freehand and some kill marks to give it a WWII feel. You might want to add some skulls and imperial markings to make it more gothic looking.

I lov your ideas though i was trying to stray from black and red as that is very order of the bloody rose. Though black and bone would be good. I wouldn\'t know where to put the bone on the valkrie.

EDIT: How would a gothic dark green and bone look following on from relic\'s idea.

Take a photo of it and colour it roughly in photoshop, paint or similar. That way you can try out different colour combinations and designs.
