Happy New Year. I'm restarting my WIP since I haven't been on this site in awhile. I'm working on this figure and it still needs some detailing and fixing up. The arms felt too small and complicated for me to comfortably pin, especially when they had small built-in pins (or nubs) in the sculpt. I used baking soda and superglue to bond the hands to the arm. I never used soda/glue and hopes it stands up to the gaming table.

Some new progress

Hey Guys. Some of the photos ended up sideways. I'm working on a couple of these figures. Figure 1 and figure 2 are companions and best buds. The third figure is an herbalist and my last figure is a dwarf. I've been working on these figures for some time now. I go between projects, or work on aspects of two figures in one night. Sometimes I get bored of a project and have to come back to it after working on another figure. Usually, I'm just slow and am trying to work out different techniques.

The figs are gloss coated and ready for a final round of highlights/shadows and some detail. Any advice would be awesome. Not always sure of what I'm doing or how to get there. I have 6 more of party sitting in some blisters. So I have to put an end to these guys soon. =^)

Gaming pieces in various stages. I'm actually proud that my first batch is coming along. Just did a coat white primer--second picture.

I work on about 3-4 minis at a time now. I get distracted easily, or hit a roadblock or a new learning curve. Sometimes I just want to work with a certain color. Going between a few projects have helped me paint better--it just takes longer to complete. I want to really focus on blending and shading. The females of the bunch are still in their blister, most likely upset that I haven't let them out.

Those are some small minis, the guy with the staff is probably the first mini I see that is skinnier than me!

He was a lot of fun to paint Teronus. I started working on some new color combos to the swordsman. Thinking of adding a gold/bronze trim to his outfit.
