Its looking good. I'd suggest more contrast. Deeper shadows and push the highlights further. If you are feeling adventurous some thin glazes of purple or blue in the recesses (under the cheeks and the eyes esp.)

I'm still plodding along been a busy 6 months or so havn't touched a paintbrush for most of it but i have again.

ignore most of the next bit it's just notes as i've lost my book :( thought it would be safer online now.

1 coat straight from pot. Chest and top of legs.

again very impressed

i know the blends are a bit naff but this was straight out the bottle to see how it sits naturally.
the model will eventually be a blood angel or smurf.

I've been teaching an 8 year old and his parents to paint and said that the internet is where i received most of my feedback that helped me get better.

here is the model i've been showing them some techniques with (with them copying) so any feedback on whats done so far (sword and trousers) would be appreciated.

Great work love the gold on the jet pack. clean and crisp start to the cultist :)
Your wip seems a lot like mine . . . plenty of starts and not many finishes!

Haha yeah canny it is. I have about 15 started projects in boxes. Im going to stop buying models till i've finished the one before.

On the subject of not starting new projects... Oopsy.



the chaos fella is at theirs so i cant progress on it in my defence. It'll only get painted when they are painting too.
