Why not. Though I would not use green stuff for it but a material that is easy to sand.

What size is it?

By the way, if there are going to be many questions on this we may want to move to a new thread since several people will be waiting to messages on the sculpt project only.

main question is what material to use as for size.. see the fairly dark peice where the long large peice connects to the back? that will be big enough for a troops to fit in... prolly eldar so proly a slightly converted guardian

Considering shape and size I\'d probably go for wood or vacform plastic over wooden masters (saves on trying to get the wood smooth). Reproduction will be expensive considering the size. Can\'t say much about that.

my idea on how you could build it!

carve it out of foam, then cover it like you would a terrain peice, only making sure to sand it smooth.
the only problem with this method is if yu wanted to cast it.

just a theory tho, would this work?

Thats how alot of film miniature makers make alot of their stuff. If it was too big you would have to stiffen it with some Balsa wood or pasticard. But it would work :D

High density foam yeh but it aint going to be very strong.
I would use model board or resin or plasti card. You could cast up resin blanks to sculpt or add to.I would only use foam if it was for a master to re cast.
