Nice but it would look good with dried blood on it. Lets face it I doubt this guy ever cleans his blade.

TOOTHBRUSH!

Before you write off trying to do some blood try this method:

1. put some dark red (Scab Red works) on an old brush - dab some of it off on a paper towel. Dab it on to the area you want to paint.

2. dip a small portion of an old toothbrush in to the same paint - run your thumb across the bristles and spatter the area you want to paint. You can get a LOT of variation out of this method.

3. repeat #2 with a bright red in smaller portions.

If you try this a few times on a piece of paper (I used my painting table....) you can figure out what you\'ll like without worrying about your mini.

The piece is fantastic so far. Stretch yourself a bit further and take a risk.

i gave it a try.. and it looks like a mini lost his head on that paper.. all i got was alot of dots.. dont think it will look good on his weapon, it looks more like blood splatter than dried blood.. thanks for the tips tho..

Try doing very, very small movements on the toothbrush - letting go only a few bristles at a time.

For dried blood mix in some dark brown with your dark red - then highlight with the dark red. Skip the bright red altogether.
